	Aisin Takaoka is actively involved in conservation. We consider the creation of a green factory in harmony with the local area an important part of our environmental policy. We received ISO14001 accreditation throughout the company in 2000. As part of the establishment of our environmental management system we are carrying out an internal audit and striving to increase the environmental awareness of our staff.

Establishment of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System

We received ISO14001 accreditation throughout the company in 2000. As part of the establishment of our environmental management system we are carrying out an internal audit and striving to increase the environmental awareness of our staff.

	Aisin Takaoka's factories were established in line with our philosophy of preserving nature. Our golf course is a proud example of this policy in action. A 9-hole golf course was included in the original plan of the Head Office plant so that Aisin Takaoka and other group employees could enjoy playing golf, holding events in Spring and Summer and fireworks festivals. Even the local kindergarten uses the area for its excursions.

	The "Green Procurement Guidance" was drafted and printed to enhance our global environmental preservation activities and acts as a guidance,especially when procuring materials and products which are part raw material and part sub-material.

	AT has released its Environmental Society Report 2008, which outlines the environmental activities that we conducted in the fiscal year 2007. We issue such a report every year in order to provide information on our environmental performance in the fields of environment management systems, environment conservation activities, and other environment related activities. AT plans to continue to issue an annual environmental report in order to inform everyone of its activities in this important field.
